Manufacturing Services

At Cía. de Tabacos Montecarlo S.A., we develop private-label and licensed-brand manufacturing projects in accordance with customer specifications. This arrangement allows customers to outsource production to our manufacturing facilities under a contract that defines product characteristics, each party’s responsibilities and the manufacturing terms.

Our industrial operations encompass the different stages of each project: tobacco leaf procurement and selection, blend development and matching, and sample preparation for evaluation and approval. Each product’s characteristics are defined according to the agreed specifications and destination market.

The service also includes packaging development in line with the brand identity, presentation formats and applicable labelling requirements. Once the product and packaging have been approved, we proceed with series production and preparation for export under the customer’s brand.

Primary Tobacco Processing and Threshing for Third Parties

CT Montecarlo offers primary tobacco leaf processing services for third parties, providing its industrial facilities and technical team to address the characteristics and requirements of each lot.

The service includes tobacco leaf threshing, which separates the lamina from the central stem. This stage prepares the raw material for subsequent industrial use, in accordance with the specifications agreed with the customer.

The scope of work is defined according to the type of tobacco, its condition on receipt, the volume and the required characteristics of the processed material. Presentation and delivery terms are agreed in advance, according to the project’s needs and the available capabilities.

This service allows other companies to use CT Montecarlo’s industrial infrastructure for a specific stage of their raw material processing.

Cellulose Acetate Filter Manufacturing for Third Parties

CT Montecarlo offers manufacturing services for cigarette filters made from cellulose acetate, in accordance with the technical specifications agreed with each customer.

The assessment considers characteristics such as length, diameter or circumference and pressure drop, as well as the required presentation and delivery terms.

Our technical team analyses each request and its compatibility with the available manufacturing capabilities to define an option suited to the customer’s production needs.
